Through The Ages - Wolfman Jack covers his favorite songs on this 1973 release featuring The Jaggerz. Covering the smash hit Ierace song "The Rapper",
Wolfman Jack's version is a flat-out hilarious classic with The Jaggerz backing him up on the music. The rest of the album features between song comments from The Wolfman along with his unique take on
other classics the way only The Wolfman could do it. This is one hard-to-find rarity that's

The Peter Emmett Story. This 1983 release features the original Cruisers line-up (Mark Avsec, Marty Lee, Albritton McClain and Kevin Valentine) backing up Peter Emmett on his debut. The album boasts that vintage Cruisers' sound we all know and love along with several Mark Avsec songs including the greatest Avsec tune never sung by Donnie Iris, "She Don't Know Me". With Avsec also handling the production duties, the result is an excellent Cruiser-esque album with only one missing ingredient... Donnie Iris. For further details on this album, check out it in the Donnie Iris & The Cruisers discography. |

| Promotors for Taste of Cleveland - a Labor Day event in Cleveland - mailed out press releases last week announcing their upcoming festival. According to the press release, the festival kicks off with a concert by "Cleveland's adopted son Donnie Iris..." Wait a minute. Adopted son? When did we Beaver Valley folks put Iris, our native rock star, up for adoption? C'mon, Donnie, show 'em where your heart is. Wear a Steelers jersey when you perform there. |
